using the estimating spreadsheet

  • At the top, add “Project Name” and “Date of Estimate”.

  • Go through the Spreadsheet and place a 1 under quantity of any line item you think will be used for this project.

  • Or

  • Use Sage Excel template to complete estimate with cost and sell price. Import that template to Estimate module in the project to create SOV. That will be time stamped, with Project Name and client info. Write Clarifications Statements under Estimate < Scope in CoreCon.

  • As bids are received from subcontractors they should be saved in SharePoint in the “Subcontractor Bids” folder and renamed to the subcontractor. Then enter them into the spreadsheet.

  • Review all the bids received and use most detailed & competitive for project estimate.

  • You can use the comments column as necessary.
